HOW THE CARS ARE BORN
(how to turn a simple sketch into a machine)

Professor Erasmo Rizzuto's conferences are acceptable by every kind of persons. Using clear words, he teaches concepts and notions about several matters, which can results in cars, most beautiful, comfortable and safer, since the true Designer of Century XXI, must be worried about factors as the recycling and the safety. Since the very first sketch, until leaving driving throughout the streets and roads, all the processes of project of a new model of vehicle, with slight knowledge of Aerodynamics, Ergonomics, Safety in Traffic, Recycling of raw materials, how to choose the name, how to combine external painting and padding colors, curious facts and technical terms of the world of the automobile. Through this method, since 1980, thousands of pupils of all around the world have learned the techniques of project of vehicles, being also used as tool of didactic support in the education of some matters, therefore as:

- It develops the space reasoning, slight knowledge of symmetry, motor coordination and the creativity, serving of support to the lessons of Artistic Education;

- It develops the idea of measures, areas, ratio and stimulates the calculation, becoming more pleasant the learning of Matematics/Geometry;

- It stimulates the reading of magazines and books about cars, improving the understanding of texts and the orthography of languages, as the native and the English;

- When a pupil searches the origin of the diverse manufacturers, indirectly, learns it localization, the culture, the Geography and the History of countries of the entire world;

- Using of diverse raw materials to manufacture a car and approaching subjects as the recycling of them, it has ample field of quarrel in lessons of Sciences.

CURRICULUM

Professor Erasmo Rizzuto is a self-learned man, his career started when he learned to read and write alone, at four years-old. At ten, spokes English fluently and, at twelve, began to produce car models in paper, waking up the curiousness of his colleagues. Owner of Manhattan Masana Design school, founded at 1986 and respected as the biggest open school of Transportation Design of the Southern Hemisphere, in his school, he teached more than 3000 students of Transportation Design, in Brazil, Latin America, Italy and Portugal. In 1989, released the book HOW THE CARS ARE BORN, simultaneously at Brazil and Italy, being notorious at that time. There are samples of his books even at the libraries of The White House (USA) and Apostolica Vaticana. Erasmo Rizzuto speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, is an ecological and comunitary leader (choose by Stanford University as a local supporter of The Earth Day), Tour Conductor, assistant of a famous federal deputy. At 22 years-old, teached at a famous brazilian university, UNESP/Bauru, passing his techniques to STUDENTS AND TEACHERS and gave a lecture at ASSOBRAV (Brazilian Association of Volkswagen Dealers). A good part of the new Brazilian Traffic Code, is born from his suggestions, in eight VOLVO Summits of Safety in Traffic, at the end of which, were wroten letters, which resumes the conclusions of these meetings and were sended to the Brazilian Federal Traffic Authority. After suffer a serious accident in his adolescence, being mute and almost tetraplegic during three long years, Professor Erasmo Rizzuto leads his researches to produce safer vehicles, reuniting in his conferences the project and the rational use of vehicles, in an interesting blend between Design and Safety in Traffic, which turns its subjects most fascinating and opportunes.
